Something better to stick sight protectors on sights?
30 July, 2017, 17:24
Hi
I use 1x35mm red dot sights. On the front I simply glued some polycarbinate using no more nails. It works well but no more nails becomes brittle and thus when my sight gets hit the poly carb absorbs the shock and falls off as the glue fragments. It gets hit every other game meaning post game I have to spend time gluing them back on.
I'm thinking of the anything glue you get from hot glue gun sticks?
Or maybe even silicone you use to do your bathroom up with as silicone stays flexible.
I did have a flip up protector but all 5 screens that came with it shattered :/
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Buy some lexan sheet from ebay and make your own replacement flip up screens...the stuff that comes supplied with the flip up protectors is usually crap. I switched over to a killflash on my acog but it does cut down on the light a lot.
