I'm getting together parts to make a mini 14 due to space restraints will be using a Vz61 gearbox.the fps will be low so the question is which hop unit and which make will give the most distance and consistency?

Re: Hop Unit Comparisons
m14/p90 but the air nozzle will be the wrong size so i'd imagine youd have to use the skorpian one.
also remember that you need to match cylinder size to barrel length.
have you considered using a m14 gearbox?

Re: Hop Unit Comparisons
youll need to use the scorpion one, to avoid having to make a new airnozzle.

Re: Hop Unit Comparisons
I have seen a project that used a M14 GB. Also there was a conversion kit on here for a M14-> mini 14.

I've got hold of a real steel folding stock and old springer maruzen mini 14. the mini 14 is significantly smaller than the M14.
