New Zero One BB: Your Thoughts

We're thinking of bringing out a new Zero One brand BB to the same quality specification, size and precision as the popular Excel .2g, with the price tag of a 5000 taiwan pack or cheaper.

We'd like to know your thoughts on the colour - fluorescent orange, fluorescent green or plain old boring white...

I was thinking green or orange, but I wondered why most pellets are actually white. Maybe under testing white was more visible?

It would be nice to see a diff colour, my choice would be Orange but either would be good

Green pellets may be hard to see for trying to zeroin scopes/set hops etc, but then of course your targets don't see them either.

Personally, white.

Would be nice to see something a little different. As above, yes green bb's might not be the best choice, not as visible as white. Orange I think would be interesting to see...

about the 'tracer idea' i normally mix my bbs so i have white bb's coming out 1 in 3 amongst black normally. maybe zero one could pre mix them? either that or white. as you can see them but they arent as visible to the enemy as the orange and green unless theyre at a very close angle to them. i.e. your shooting at them lol

Mixed pellets are ok if full auto is your preferred method. With semi, a pain in the arse. Just finished removed the last of the black pellets from my BB stock pile, lol. :D

my thought on a really good bb but really hard to make is

a black and white bb - half and half - so when it spins you see it then you dont and so on

so the bb would look like its jumping through the air and would be hard to judge when it going to hit you, if your far enough away to dodge it

seems like a really good idea but would be harder to manufacture and the cost mite be a bit higher - but if a company did these bbs i'd pay more just for the shear fun of it

I like the idea, but the cost per bag would be £30 + i'd imagine... if at all possible to mold

The reason we're thinking of the fluorescent colours is to achieve the visibility of white (where black, brown and plain colours fail to be seen) and at the same time have something a little different for a change.

Sounds good in principle, but I rekon that'll just make the bb look like it's flashing, so you're attention will be drawn towards it.
