Yes they make a difference. Tighter groupings, and an increase in range, and a slight increase in power.

Madbull Ver. 2 are probably one of the best for AEG's.

Tightbore 6.03 and 6.04mm are some of the best- look up barrels on accessories on Zero One.

Running a madbull in mine. 6.03mm, nice and tight. You'll want the 229mm for a MP5, or 363mm if you want something to run to end of a silencer.
