re-spray but keep trades

hey guys, im looking to re-spray m4 m4 body black as it is orginally grey. however i want to keep the trade marks on the gun as they look cool :D o can it be done or do i have to sacrific them? (btw the previous owner sprayed it black not me)

Spray the body black, Slap white enamel paint in the trades wipe over with white spirit in one direction.
The key is to use a clean part of the cloth for every wipe and NEVER use the same part of the cloth more than once.

NEVER wipe twice as this smears paint
