slings ! what do you use ?

Hi all just been looking at all the nice guns in the pic thread and something struck me .. no slings ?

now my self i have never got use to using 3pt slings and prefer 1 pt slings my self .

So i wanted to ask what do you all use to stop your self dropping your gun

American "EZ Sling" Military/Police 3-point sling.

I find it really useful as i can throw it over my shoulder and draw pistol/grenade/mp5k without having to worry about where it will end up as it always drops into the same place on my back. Then i just grab the stock and swing it round the front into the firing postion. It only takes about a second to go from relaxed postion to a firing postion.

i use a gen l85 sling on my l85, it works very will, but i had a 3 point on my m4 and it was crap, all ways twisting

i use a 3pt on my aegs and 2pt on my snipers they work for me

i dont use slings for aegs only on my sniper rifles so can use pistol . and then is dont use a proper sling it a custom laptop strap but made sturdier for the action

I made a 2pt from some utility strapping from B&Q (80p) and used some fishing braid to stitch the loops together but trying to get the lenght right is annoying.
But i have a 3pt/2pt viper sling on my L85. works fine always falls in the same place

l85 sling for l85, one point for my 416 and hopefully a genuine m249 sling for my para minimi

Sometimes have a random canvas 1pt sling on my AK, but tbh if I need to switch or something Ill just drop the AK-its tough enough to take it

you do realise that a l85 sling is a 3pointer, the reason why a 3pointer twists on an m4 and not an l85 is all down to the placement of the sling hooks, which on an l85 are on the side and an m4 its on the "ventral spine"/bottom.

L85: issue L85 sling (one of the best slings I've used)
M4/M16 variants: A long two point which I use like a 3 point
AK's: short 2 point just used for carrying
M3 shotgun: L85 sling
MP5's & M500 shotgun: Single point
M249: Guarder M249/M60 sling with replaced clips.

I use a single point of my own design and manufacture. There's no problem with transition from left to right shoulder and the rifle hangs neatly down the centre of my body when I go for my side arm.
