Re: a good light
Yeah I didn't think 800 lumens was even possible at that price anyway, the most i've seen under £20 is 450 lumens, using those 18650 batteries or something similar.
Unless that's just the chinese code-name for AA....?
Was at an indoor game today and noticed how even a 200lumen light can mess up the NVG's; think that may be enough!

What you want is one of these!
the Underwater Kinetics 4AA. As used by the police, fire brigade and military.
It kicks absolute ass. An associate of mine in HMRN provided me with a couple and theyre AMAZING, runs off 4 AA batteries, has an insanely bright bulb, lights up areas for miles and is practically indestructable!

If I remember correctly they look like AAA's in the pictures but when you have them in your hand they are thinner and longer. I dont know what volt they are but i know you get some rechargeable 2200mah with some of the torches and they last a while.
I used to play at a CQB in Dronfield and some areas even in teh day were pitch black and even the G&P m3 which are 65 lumens was bright enough.
I had one of the G&P M500 500lumen torches and although its bright once the novelty wears off you realise that for lamping its good but when you want to light some steps up without giving your position away you cant!

For me , the LED Lenser P7 , the very best there is. When you absolutely, positively, have to light-up every single Mother-Fornicater in the room; accept no substitute .
