New gun!

After reading lots of praise for it on this forum, i've just gone and bought and bought myself a shiny new TM M14 SOCOM. :D

Will make a pleasant change to my usual choice of M4 incarnations!

Can't wait for it to arrive! :p

Any recommendations for additions/upgrades to it? I'm not after a 500fps monster, just interested in any additions that will compliment the standard rifle.

If its a new TM M14 SOCOM, as in fresh out of the packet, leave it be. Internally, it should last you a long time and perform VERY well. TM M14s are well reknown for being some of the best out of the box guns made.

Externally, however, there is room to expand. Sticking a Red dot, ACOG scope or such on the top will make it look quite cool, and you could always stick a bipod on the bottom if your going to be doing alot of marksmanship.
