VSR-10 Wood Stock?
2 August, 2010, 13:52
I have seen a few of these around, but after a few hours browsing the internet I cant seem to find anywhere that sells them.
Do you have to get them made up or am I just failing to find them?
Thanks

Re: VSR-10 Wood Stock?
I think the majority of them are custom made. See if you can find a carpenter or luthier, they might be up to the task.

Re: VSR-10 Wood Stock?
A wood effect comes with the real shock i think but the real shock is utter tosh! Just get someone to custom make one or ask around.
This Post may contain my opinions and if you disagree with them Tough S**T!

Re: VSR-10 Wood Stock?
Craft Apple Works made a few wood stocks. There's a HK site that used to sell them, but only as part of a custom rifle setup, not individually. They now appear to be out of stock.
Edit: I lied. They still have the DX model, which is a poorly done upgrade of a VSR inside a woodstock. It costs nearly $1000 and is far from how I'd expect a decent VSR to be set up.

Re: VSR-10 Wood Stock?
Some of the better Airgun shops will know where to have stocks made.
Found this earlier as I was looking for myself. I happen to like them with a wood stock.
Google that it should take you to it, if you could find one way cheaper than making one.

Re: VSR-10 Wood Stock?
I had the CAW m40a1 wood stock on my VSR ones.
Few problems are they are not as accurat made as the standard ABS plastic stocks.
The mag well is too wide so the magazine can wobble to the sides and the place between the round mag catch button and the magwell a piece of wood quickly broke off. Also the hole for the mag catch button is to large compared to the button itself so i actually lost my mag catch button during a game. This crap quallity pic shows how the wood part has broken off:
The stock itself looks damn sweet, but for the amount of money spend i didnĀ“t exspect these problems, but who knows, could be a bad batch.
Here is a pic of the stock on my old Bar 10

Re: VSR-10 Wood Stock?
Thanks for all the help everyone
Mattias that does look pretty sweet! I'm really looking for one in a much lighter colour, so its looking like I'm gunna have to get one made.
Would any carpenter do it or do I need to find a specialist do you think?
If anyone else has any photos they would be extremely helpful and much appreciated
