6.01 barrel ammo.
17 August, 2010, 17:03
just started using this barrel and so far have been using only maruzen grand master bbs as they im told they are less likely to jam.
however id rather not spend £13+p&p for 500 bbs every time.
so i ask would bbs do you use in your 6.01 barrel and do u have any jams?
thanks.

Re: 6.01 barrel ammo.
Guarders sniper range is pretty popular.. and you get a decent amount for half the price ..

What are you getting from your 6.01 barrel that warrants that much hassle though? I can't imagine it being worth it at all!

Re: 6.01 barrel ammo.
I'm running a pdi 6.01 and I've been using both
guarder
and
zero-one
own brand green .36g to great effect; nothing to tell between the two except a slight differenc in price.
At £6 for a 1000 they are a better bet than MGM's which insidently where no more accurate at all in my rifle, and made dialing in the hop trickier.

Try Blasters, I've used them in a 6.01 and now I use them in a 6.02 all the time

Re: 6.01 barrel ammo.
I use excel bbs. I have a pdi 6.01 in my systema ptw and it's never jammed. Great ammo and zero one do a great price!
Check out my Feedback!

Re: 6.01 barrel ammo.
madbull ones are unlikely to jam at 5.95 +/- .01mm, do you know what the tollerance on your barrel is? never had a problem with the madbull .2 / .25 can't vouch for their heavier rounds though.
