How Safe Is It To Order A Motor From HK?

Hi guys,

I've got a really quick question.

How safe would it be to order a high speed motor from the banned version of a famous auction website?

I would like a simple answer or a short tale of a past experience about how safe it is and would it be at high risk at getting slapped by the import tax?

ive bought from them lots of time and other sites and for small items have never been taxed as they always mark the packaging on the customs declaration form with a low price and deliver royal mail

My experience has been nothing but good with these guys. I never get taxed and never pay for shipping! Anything else I order from east Asia gets taxed but everything I have had from the retailer you make reference toward has been import duty free. Looking at my account I have ordered from them 12 times!

rifs are a different matter and there are loads of threads discussing that.

smaller stuff that has been marked down or is of low value will more than likely get through

I think it depends on the size of the packet.

Every thing I've ordered has come in a padded envelope labled "toy spare parts" $9.68 so has not attracted customs or VAT.:D

I was thinking of ordering a cheap 1911 (They sell a Bell Silver 1911 for £41 posted), so not that big a package really. Any ideas on tax/customs charges?
