Headset PTT Recommendation

Hi guys,

I need a bit of help on what PTT to get and what one will work the best with a Cobra single pin radio and an Element Bowman style headset?

Any help and recommendations are much appreciated

if your reffering to the element bowman headset

DONT BOTHER as the only way the ptt will work is if the actuall ptt on the radio headset is pushed in also ,

i use my bowman headset with the ptt with my motorola radios

Hmm so you think the same problem might occur with Cobra radios ?
Do you know why this happens ?

I used mine for the cobra m800 radios ,

the black ones..... they never worked with the ptt button pushed

so i tried it with my motorola talk abouts , and work perfectly

would there be any possibility in it working with the Cobra m600?

are they the charcoal versions mate ,

if so then nope , affraid not, best bet mate is to try and get a single pin one from HK ,

go to a popular electronics retailer on the high street ang get a single to dual pin radio adapter. then just get a 2 pin connector relevent to the adapter you have and voila job done.
workes with cobra mt200's
