Gas in the post

Hi
Can anybody help me out as i am about to do a deal and was going to include the remainder of the gas i have left and was not sure if it was against the regulations

You not meant to send gas canisters via Royal Mail. They should be sent via couriers that accept them.
However saying this, I have had no issues in the past with Royal Mail. :P

i dont think the post office will carry it, but i know UKMail and DHL have both delivered parcels to me with gas in them, if that helps.

I get gas from a big shop via Parcel Force 24hr.
Should be ok, as it "explosive". As Havocide says..... weather you supposed to or not, I've never had issues

Out of experience we get called by Royal Mails sorting office if they scan a gas container or anything that looks like a grenade. With the highetened Terrorism level still being at Severe we get called to them a lot. Well I say 'we' its the Counter Terrorism guys that actually go and deal with it.
Stuff they find they hold and dispose of.

I have received gas canisters in the post via RM many times .There probably mory likely to loose it than work out its a gas canister ,and not send it
