i got my first gun when i was about 8 and it was a gas pistol of some kind it broke one day and sat in my cupboard for a year or two and i threw it away thinking i couldn't fix it now i realised i could have.......yeah i'm an idiot

a DE M56 shotgun - great for the money
shortly followed by TM MP7
started out only playing CQB, so they worked out well - still got both

Mine was (and still is) an A&K LR300(Short). Bloodly lovely gun, only thing I have done to it is pop in a 1J spring and put in a new hop rubber after the first wore out. Never missed a beat and it probably one of the best guns I have ever owned.

My first gun was the TM M4 RIS. Loved it and miss it - wonder where it is now?

Why? I believed they were considered above the TM in terms of quality? And Well Skorpion for 1st Electric capable of over 200 fps.

Back then* they bloody werent. :D Haha. Fire selector fell off on its first outing, and then the gearbox packed in shortly afterwards. Nothing but internal problems. Externally superior, but as a skirmish tool... Nah.
*7 years or so ago.
