Sniper Rifles?
20 May, 2009, 19:05
Right, im looking into buying a sniper in a couple of weeks but i seriously have not much idea into what one to buy. At first it was the maruzen l96, then the ASR-10 g spec, now im just lost. Can anyone perhaps come up with a list of accurate, powerful and light sniper rifles. Maybe 5 or so, just so i can look into them, not too pricey, nothing more than £600 new.
Cheers Jason

Re: Sniper Rifles?
£600 is quite a bit :O you could get a upgraded sniper from zero one. but its upto you which one you choose. personally i have a vsr realshock none upgraded, its good. but ofcourse youd have to ask someone the an l96 for a fair argument!

Re: Sniper Rifles?
May be worth waiting to see how the TM L96 turns out or is that still ages off?

Re: Sniper Rifles?
The problem with the PSG-1, as lovely as it is, is that it is very heavy, and due to the fact its semi auto is going to be limited alot. Does your site allow semi automatic snipers Jaskin?
G&G TR15 Raider XL, CA G36K, G&G MP5A4, Cyma Thompson, APS AKS-74U, Custom TM Uzi, DE M56, WE Nighthawk X2, Cyma Glock 18C
RD Customs MG42, The Bone Cannon And Project Balderdash.
If you aren't laughing, you're doing it wrong.

Re: Sniper Rifles?
£600 for your first sniper?!??!?
Hmmmm. I wouldn't recommend it.
Now I know JG bar's are pretty much sold out, EVERYWHERE....But if you can source one, i'd definatley recommend one of those.

Re: Sniper Rifles?
I would keep an eye out on the sales forums like this one and arnies because there are often heavily upgraded rifles available that are gonna be far better value for money at only £300/400 and they would probobly have everything you would want including a zero trigger mech.

Re: Sniper Rifles?
As others have said, it might be sensible to buy a second hand pre-upgraded one of here as it will save you a hell of a lot of money.
If that's not for you then I would recommend buying a TM VSR G-Spec and upgrading it. Parts are easy to find, they are very reliable guns and I don't think I've ever actually heard anyone say a bad word about them.
Theres also a really in-depth guide on here about upgrading TM VSR's written by a forum member who's name just isn't coming at the moment :S

Re: Sniper Rifles?
Definitely, or get a Maruzen L96 second hand and throw in a teflon cylinder, cylinder head and TB- that's a killer rifle. I have one :D
