Best make of sights?
24 October, 2010, 13:59
Looking into sights and scopes, am wanting to know the best make for a good price, am wanting to get the scope and also purchase a carry handle mount for around £50.
Have seen some EA and G&P sights that are of a good price.
Which is better for taking hits? Will they crack or break?
That is what I am worried about.
Thankyou,
Matthew.

Re: Best make of sights?
Man you ask alot of Q's on these. Do you want a reflex sight, a magnifing scope or a aimpoint style?

Re: Best make of sights?
You mention carry handle? For mouting on a Armalite?
If you're talking about a magnified scope...
I'd say go to a gun shop/online store and look at the rifle optics there, ignore "airsoft" branded optics as are often over-priced and lacking quality, compared to certified sporting rifle brands.

Re: Best make of sights?
go with a proper rifle scope, a low end one though, as u can pick one up for as little as £20... the fancier moddles have stuff not really relevant to airsoft such as parallax adjustment etc for decent sights though, Chinese clones of the Magpul flip up sights are actually quite good!
When the 404 error message gets a 404 error message, you know it's bad...

I've used TM Pro sight, G&P Eotech, a bog standard red dot, MP5/G3 low profile red dot.
G&P Eotech was nicest and good to use.
You really pay for quality when it comes to sights

G&P aimpoint replicas are pretty good, and come up on here quite often for a very reasonable price. I have one of the newer 'Comp 4' style ones which is very clear and built to take abuse.
Personal favourite though is my HurricanE EOtech 552. Great construction, clear as day, tonnes of functions and lovely to use.

Re: Best make of sights?
Thanks guys, was just looking for a brief idea.
Montesa, I understand that I ask alot of questions but I am rather new to the sport and want to get the best of what I am looking for. Asking people that already do the sport, helps alot.
