All hire guns fully booked....grrrr!

Just went to book my mate in to come skirmishing with us at ****** ***** woodland and they are fully booked!!! This is really annoying that it happens to be the only time i want to hire a gun! Have any of you experienced the same annoyance!

When I started, I used to book my hire gun as soon as the game was announced so I'd get one. Have you not got a spare? Most people on this forum seem to have, on average, around 53 guns (slight exaggeration? maybe...).

When I took my mate along, he used my M4 and I used my Aug. If I bring a mate along, I try to lend them one of my guns if I have one that works.

Suppose i could be put that way but im guessing they are genuinely fully booked. And yes i have a spare m14 but my old man wants to give it a go so im lending him that. Hopefully my thompson comes friday and i can sort it by saturday ready for me to use, then in turn me mate can borrow my m4 lol, two guns being lent out though is not an i deal situation in my eyes!

my loca site is normally fully booked 2 games in advance, so if you are trying to hire with less than a week to go chances are it is full up

not that its happened to me since i havent hired for over 2 years , but i notice at my local site that all the hires are being booked out most games now , do you think this is something to do with airsoft gaining more players?

Don't think it's anything particularly new. When I first started (2004) I tried to hire and was told hire guns usually get booked up 2 weeks in advance. Anything less than a week and you've got no chance. I was so desperate to go I bought myself a SIG552 instead :p

they never used to be fully booked out when i first started , although could also be the fact that guns are deteriorating beyond the point of even hire use

Its all to do with having to play 3 games before you can buy a rif, we are fully booked most nights.
