    Is this wrong? need help before sunday.

    Hi guys i was just wondering what you lot would think if you saw this on a nice sunday skirmish day?


    Now ive just aquirred my new pride and joy... my TM Thompson M1A1, now can i run around with this thing and not wear the old American/British uniforms to match, is it wrong to wear my DPM lol, ive never seen it so i dont know how i'd feel about it. But then again im itching to skirm the tommy!!

      Of course not. Silly question really! It's like asking 'can I wear Russian camo and use an Mp5?' Yes, of course you can. Unless you are going to allow yourself to be brow beaten by camo snobs rather than just going to airsoft to enjoy yourself.

              Depends if you want to make a impression, if not, do what you want, there was a guy on sunday wearing the full WW2 kit using a TM thompson, and there was a guy using a PPSH with just jeans and a DPM smock, no one cared, after all, we are all using the same guns, just with different shells on top.

                  Hi guys thanks for replies, dont appreciate the "pointless thread" comments as like you said jag, pointless reply. i asked a question people replied, so not exactly pointless. I know theres no right or wrong way to do it but theres so much history and meaning attached to the WW2 guns for me it just doesnt seem right for some reason, may just be being silly but hey... wanted to know your opinions

                      Well DPM was worn during ww2 (An old version but DPM nonetheless) and the thompson was used by Brit troops, so not entirely innaccurate to history.

                        fair enough could of lol but honestly i only bought the Tommy as a wall hanger because of my interests and love for all thing attached to WW2, but now ive got it, ive got the itch to use it in a skirmish.

                          I kinda thought that, the M1A1 lasted into the 60s if im right? but would it of went that far with just the americans or british too?
