Mk.23 Help
27 November, 2010, 17:21
Hi guys, as we all know the TM Mk23 lam is trulty shocking, the light is awful and the "lazer" is a red led.
so the question is.... are there any after market torches or lams that will fit as i have a night game coming up and i was thinking of going pistol for part of the night. but only if i can get a torch that will fit

Re: Mk.23 Help
^ Won't fit.
The 'rail' is the HK groove design and only an MK23 LAM can fit.

Re: Mk.23 Help
however if you use the medium of the internet there are a few guides on how to fit a more powerful bulb in the LAM unit

Re: Mk.23 Help
There is/was an adapter to make it into a 20mm rail. I remember seeing it at a hobby site over in asia and a few other HK based retailers.
Personally I'd just stick with the standard LAM. The LED is bright enough to navigate by but not so bright that you'll let everyone in the same county as you know where you are.
If you really must have a bright tac light then why not just tape an M3 tac light to the bottom. It's not as if the slide needs to move so you can just go to town with the tape.

Re: Mk.23 Help
You can get adaptors from HK for the USP like this. They look as if they'd fit a MK23.
