The 'Spechul Farces' use one of the many hybrid M4s, but I have no idea which. You could quite plausably use an MP5, G36C, MP7 or UMP for a loadout. Or any 'captured' weapon of course.
G&G TR15 Raider XL, CA G36K, G&G MP5A4, Cyma Thompson, APS AKS-74U, Custom TM Uzi, DE M56, WE Nighthawk X2, Cyma Glock 18C
RD Customs MG42, The Bone Cannon And Project Balderdash.

If you aren't laughing, you're doing it wrong.

M4A1. It's the jack of all trades weapon in the US Army.

I love that picture. You can see theyre all trying really hard not to laugh whle it was taken!

M4 CQB varient would be the real weapon of choice. I myself prefer the way the unit works, by just picking up any old gun! Sadly in my opinion the best weapon for CLOSE CQB is a pistol. Its just so much faster and easier to move with really!

Slightly off topic, did you realise The Unit had been cancelled Richardy? It broke my heart

These are the general weapons being used by the US at the moment. Its far from a full list, and likely will contain a mistake, but is generally true:

                Army:

                M4A1 (+/- M203)
                M16A4 (+/- M203)
                M249 Mk2
                M92F
                M21
                R700
                SR-25
                Remington M870

                Rangers/Delta/S.E.A.L.S

                M4A1 (+/- M203)
                M16A4 (+/- M203)
                Mk 46 Mod 0 (M249)
                Mk 43 Mod 0 (M60E4)
                Mk 14 EBR Mod 0
                SR25
                M82 Barrett
                Remington M870
                Benelli M1014
                M92F
                USP .45 ACP
                SCAR L
                SCAR H
                Barrett M468

That's about all I can name from when I was doing some research. Youll have to forgive me, I'm writing this at work between coats of paint.

Yeah a cqb m4 will sort you a treat. Or even an m16, but there used mainly by mechanics, drivers etc (basically non front line guys or women!). I think just watching a good war film, BHD, hurt locker, or something like the unit will sort you out, but bare in mind the unit don't use operational guns, they use what they want to. But you can see a theme still.

Also depends whether you want to do it exactly traditional as to what we'd expect a ranger etc to be using, or what they actually are using in some cases.

There's a pic on MilitaryPhotos of USSF with a UMP w/ EOtech.

Otherwise M4 Mk18 for SEALS, or M4 CQB.

SF can use whatever they feel will help them do the task at hand best though...

I'd love to see photos of that, they also use HK416.
Just because you see a UMP in one picture doesn't mean its the norm, get a CQB M4 or 416 and you're set.

Just because it's not the norm doesn't mean it's not used. But yes, 10.5" M4s (SEALS Block II w/ DD 9" RISII) will be the most recognizable and generic set up.

                            Forgot - SEALS w/ MP7
