Can you fit a battery in an M4 RIS handguard? Any help here would be much appreciated.

So an 8.4v 1500 mAh battery is out of the equation?

Re: Battery in RIS Handguard?
If you get the 7.4v 1100-1200mAh lipos at the ********* **** they fit perfectly under RIS handguards!
EDIT: Cheeky monkey, as far as i know you can fit standard 8.4v batteries in MOE handguards.

Yep, but RIS handguards are much thinner.

Re: Battery in RIS Handguard?
Im also about to embark on this route. If you cant fit a standard NIMH battery under the RIS, what options are there with PEQ boxes? What sorts can you get that would fit 9.6 batteries in?
(Sorry to hijack thread W.I.L.F!!!)

The ICS CQB Battery Box can hold a 9.6 if I remember correctly, and it's pretty compact.

Re: Battery in RIS Handguard?
I'm seriously considering getting a lipo. Besides the battery itself, what would I need to get?

a charger that can charge lipo batteries, a turnigy or imax are good choices.

Charger, leads.
The rest is pretty optional really, an alarm is a good idea, as is charging bag.
