SOPMOD battery salvage
16 January, 2011, 14:16
Ooops.
Something started smelling bad the other day when I charged this...
Is there anythig worth salvaging here. Obviously I cant use it anymore unless there's a way of replacing cells...

Re: SOPMOD battery salvage
Basically, anyone with a soldering iron could replace the cells, provided you find some that fit. It might also be worth checking there isnt a reason that happened. It could just be that one of the cells was in a bad mood and imploaded, or it could be a short circuit or something else that caused it to burn. Wouldn't be much point putting new cells in for it to happen again.
