So guys, it's been months now an no progress. I apoligise sincerely for this, and now I have only final pics of it finished to show. The dummy mag still needs to be added, as well as a rear K98k sight.

:D yeah i'm fooling a few people here. You put on a few layers of paint, then wait for tit to dry. After that there is another layer of darker but thinner paint you put over the top, before adding grain with some kind of tool (I used a comb). In response to your comment, i'll be putting a darker varnish over the top to do just that :P

That looks pretty amazing. And I am so shocked thats paint? It looks just like unstained wood haha!

Oh and nice signature Ghostdivision... Liking the Old Spice reference there haha Slightly off-topic I know, but Old Spice is just the shizzniggles.
