  • Audibility of Tanaka revolvers

One of the things that enticed me about buying a Tanaka revolver is how JustPistols described them...

''I have been surprised by the sound and the Performance Center was no exception. These are by far the loudest airsoft guns I've heard.''

Yet every single youtube video I find of any Tanaka pistol when fired is probably what I'd describe as the quietest airsoft pistols.

    Take this for instance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qMZaMrVdu8

Can anyone who owns a Tanaka revolver vouch for this?

EDIT: Just this minute found this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1fFr...eature=related which clearly demonstrates how loud the pistol is. Leads me to believe this misconception has something to do with audio compression on digital cameras and mobile phones...

Mine was not as loud as that last video but it was certainly close to a mk23 without it's silencer equipped.

they dont seem that loud...in fact ive had HFC,Marushin and Tanakas...and to me all pistols dont seem very loud compared to normal gas blowbacks which are shooting 300+ fps....revolvers sound more like 150-200 fps...even if they are pushing out more

my old performance center used to go off with a crack .I don't think its the loudness ,but the sharpness of the sound.
