Hello,
i was wondering what are all of the brands that make aegs, that are not chinese or 'fake'?
and what is the best and why? thanks

My recommendation would be Tokyo Marui. They may have ABS plastic externals, but they're built EXTREMELY well and will last you for a very long time. Also, most upgrades are based off of the TM models, so the upgrades usually always fit.

I doubt ill get alot of people agreeing with me on this one, but i rate ICS close to the top. First of all, full metal which gives a sense of realism and weightyness. Second good quality* (ICS is reknowned for being hit and miss, but my M16a3 is great to me, no problems) internals which obviously keep the gun going! The price is always higher than others but thats for the full metal and although minimal licsience fee.

i would have said marui if they had some better bodies on them, or if were taking about sniper rifles, but for now all i can really say is CA they make loads of different guns, metal bodies, good internals and stuff like that

whats all this "fake" buisiness. china guns arent "fake" weapons. Atm china companys like d-boys, JG and CYMA and offering fantastic weapons for a great price. Personally i would never trade my d-boys Sr-16 for anything. the quality is fantastic and ive never had such good range or accuracy with any other weapon ive ever brought.

i would rate ICS at the top, marui just below, purely because of reliability and build quality

In order of best to worst in my opinion:

Marui
ICS
CA
G&P
Systema
G&G

As for clones they are what you pay for, cheap and basic.

cheap and basic clones..yea thats right :/ JG, full metal, armalite trademarks, mosfet, full metal li-poly re-enforced gearbox. all for 160quid. cheap and basic right there.

My top 3 preferences are:
1st. Tokyo Marui for there build quality, they'll last you ages but are ABS. Or Systema as there used to train people so must be good and there just like the real thing. and for £1000 they should be.
2nd. ICS for the same reasons as Felixpredator. I've had no probs and i like the way it sounds
3rd. G&P, to me they just seem nice to hold and have a fast ROF so must have some sort of good internals and i think there metal bodys (or the ABS looks like Metal)

But if i had the choice to get one it would be down to ICS or G&P.
