custom gun work help
2 February, 2011, 22:56
hey im about to begin a custom build. i need hlp with m4 dimentions. i have just bought a g&p m4 cqb and i want to replace the whole front end. i need to now abit about inner and outer barrels. i intend to extend the outer barrel to around 14.5 inches and the ris system to around 9 inches. what inner barrel will be appropriate for this? as i dont want a cqb length barrel in a long gun. also does any tb fit or what?
cheers,

Re: custom gun work help
I'm sure the whizz kids that browse the technical forums can tell you everything you need to know bit as far as I know, if you want to put a longer tightbore in you'll need a non-vented cylinder to stop suck-back (correct?). I think all G&P outers will fit and all tightbores are standard too, madbull are pretty decent from my experience but you may want to look at systema or tn barrels too. But lenght-wise you'll want a standard M4 length, unless you want it longer to hide in a suppressor.
