I've heard that the TM SOCOMS are really reliable, you just need to get a upgrade and your sorted. Really nice guns.

Does being a Socom really make a difference? I really want a normal M14 over a socom, so i hope there's not alot of difference.

My Mate has a pretty sweet G&G M14 with woodstock, with an upgraded spring and a decent scope. It's range and accuracy are bloody awesome. :D

One of the best hop systems found on any airsoft gun atm.

I will say TM (Not the SOCOM) M14 every time.
These things have insane range and accuracy out of the box.
Deffinatley worth the money.
And ad reliable as the other TM's aswell

I hear the latest G&Gs are very good (where as the early ones were rubbish). I've got a CYMA, haven't used it apart from on the range and it seemed decent enough and is a direct clone of the TM

That said the AGM M14 will need a good gunk out, and upgrades wont hurt

Oh, yeah, a rebuid and reshim goes without saying. Plus they can start to shoot full auto on semi. This one's fixed by tightening up the spring that pulls the yaw control bar into place on semi. Makes it do it's job as oppose to just flapping around.

If you're going clone, it HAS to be the CYMA, the AGM doesn't come close...

For the clone m14's id say cyma with agm just behind it.

For top models id have the TM m14 anyday of the week.

As said by Bert they got insane range once the hop has bedded itself in and is very accurate even though they do no more than 315fps out the box.

Have owned my tm m14 since day one of zero one having them in stock and this beast even out ranges my vfc scar which is firing at 330-340fps and has got a tightbore barrel as standard!!

I think any of the TM m14's will do, altho the Socom is a later release for them, so possibly it has some updated bits tho?

The Socom's performance easily rivals the full length version, just in a more compact package, so technically I would say that makes it better
