can you use m4 parts on m15a2

hello just wondering if you can use m4 parts on m15a2 if so which ones
it will be a great help for info on this as it is my first project gun

ok i take it this is a CA m15? i ahev an M15A4, which is an m4 RIS. the A2 is the m16 so its basicly laike putting an m4 reciver on to an m16. its all the same, pretty much. depending on make of course but if you got a dboys m4 receiver and CA m16 top half it wont fit, ive tried. you can put front ends on though, so you can get id of your m4 hand gaurd and put your m16 one on and that would be fine, thing is it also depends on hop-up unit, is it split or whole?
