I've been chronoed once before a game because I asked them to chrono my SA80... it came out as 90 fps. What the heck happened to my 1j spring that I put in it?
Oh well, I blame the chrono...
My local site is a bit leniant when it comes to FPS aswell, but we usually have a shop owner who is willing and able to cut springs or fit a new spring in your gun there and then, free of charge, which is nice.

Springs don't bed in.

Try it... Compress a spring for as long as you can be bothered to wait and see if it makes a difference.

So airsoft springs are PERFECT physical energy systems...? Wow, someone better tell scientists about Tokyo Marui.
