Holographic or Acog?

Hi to every one,

I was just wondering whether to get a holographic or agoc for a we scar if anyone has a suggestions please say.:D

Holographic. You dont really need x4 magnification for an airsoft gun.

I disagree the zoom on an acog is just enough to get much easier shots at long range.

Used both on my M4 & Masada. If you have an accurate weapon, the ACOG is the one for me. I thought the magnification would be overkill for airsoft.

However it allows accurate shot placement on a target showing very little to hit. Sold my Holo sight & am getting a second ACOG.

Ends up as personal preference. Try before you buy, if you can.

I have had both ACOG's and holo's and TBH I only ever use the ACOG to spot things at very long range.

A G&P EOtech is an awesome holo sight if you go down that route. Well worth the money.

All the ACOGs I've used have had terrible eye relief.

I vote holosight.

+1 on the eotech, you can mount a magnifier with it too so cqb or open play its all good!

I used both on my old SCAR but got rid of the acog and keep the 552 has my only sight now, find it easier to use.

I use both ... It's down to the look, if you want zoom on a holographic you can use it with a magnifier.

I got a 552 EOtech and it works a dream! To me it's nice to look down, rather than an ACOG

Yep, ive played with an ACOG before (not mine, borrowed) and i only used it for perving on what guns my far-away opponents had.
G&P Holo. That is a nice bit of kit.

+1 to this. Personal preference prevails. Woodland or CQB? I use a reflex sight for the latter and find it much better than any kind of 'scope'.

I vouch for Eotech. I got a real one from ebay for 200 quid back in the days and its never let me down. Does Anyone know a good version out there that won't ghost you?
