Ok I seem to have lost the gold looking pin behind the spoon
And idea if you can buy this part or any ideas what to replace with

You can't buy them at all unless you send the whole thing back to HFM for servicing as they refuse to sell parts.
You can yet them from me as this something quite a few of us have come across so we have had them made for us.
They are £10 delivered if you want one.

It's not the split ring he's lost - behind the spoon is a machined brass pin which holds the piston down when the spoon is in the locked position.
They disappear if the spoon gets bent the wrong way when thrown or the small locking pin holding the spoon in comes out.
