Hello to all

Asking the question to those who are left handed.

Do you adapt to use your rifle right handed, or do you stay with your left?

how do you cope with slings etc etc, do you modify your guns/ slings?

I am.

I'm ambidextrouse now though, I used to shoot with just my left, but since then I've learned to shoot with both. I still have a left handed holster though.

As for slings, that was a huge problem, especially because my mp5 had no left handed sling loops. I used some para cord as new sling loops.

I am, I find it easier to use a rifle right handed, Especially a bolt action.

I am, and stay with my left, as i find it feels mroe natural, i can shoot with my right when i need to though, its just a case of getting used to it.

As for slings i dont use them as they have always annoyed me for one reason or another, and just dont seem to suit my stle of play. Most guns though you will be able to just loop a sling onver the stock and then somewhere on the front.

I'm a lefty, but i've turned ambi since I've started, depends on what kind of corner/tree i'm leaning around :p

I'm a lefty for writing, but that's about it :-P Pretty much do everything else either ambidextrously or right-handed, including shooting!

Im left handed in everything i do except shooting.

Ive had to adapt to right handed shooting due to firing the l85.

In the British army, everybody uses their weapon the same way. Lefty or Righty!

I assume same applies to most armed forces world wide! So no excuses :p Unless a face full of shell casings is what you desire :D

Being the thread creater I suppose I should comment aswell :D

I can Shoot a pistol left or right handed with little difficultly. As for rifles, I cant really aim right handed, although when the situation calls for me to use my right hand (I.E. shooting my CA SAR M41 with one hand to spray down a few peeps!) I can do it!

I have been lucky with my Galaxy MP5k and have managed to sling it up for left handed use :D

Actually, it only applies to the SA80.

M4's, MP5's ect all eject shells from the middle, meaning your face won't get battered...:D

The plus side of the AUG over the SA80, removable port cover :D!!
