Ghillie decision (require some help)
17 January, 2009, 21:09
Hi guys been looking around for a cheap ghillie system that i can make and bend around the area i play in, that area is ground zero woodland.
What should i do
1. Use old Dpms?
2. Webtex Concealment vest
3. Pre made ghillie costing nearly £100
4. Buy one off here
Minding the first suggestion this will be my first ghillie experience.
Cheers

Re: Ghillie decision (require some help)
ok thank you guys.
destroyer i gathered finding one on here will be hard and if i do it will cost in an excess of not even worth mentioning for example some guy on here is selling his that he has perfected for 6 years and hasn't put a price on it so god knows how much he wants for it.

Re: Ghillie decision (require some help)
look on the jack pyke site and get back to me
I think the one your on about is £84 and looks rather sexy but would probably fail at ground zero unless its full of leaves ..everywhere

Best pictures I've seen are of people with garnished, or just plain Jane, concealment jackets. I might be useing one tomorrow at GZ. Will get some pics hopefully.

Re: Ghillie decision (require some help)
dude - dont waste time buying a premade one - they are always shite.
i made mine for hunting and it cost a total of like £30 if that.
you can easily make one in like 2 hours. - my nephew wanted one but i didnt want to spend the amount of time i spent doing mine, on his
just get some netting - hot glue gun it to a smock then tie on some burlap in different colours - bobs your uncle
you could push the boat out and sew in some elastic to attach foliage.
easy as that
best of luck
