A Question about tasco scopes...
30 June, 2009, 19:54
Hey there, I recently came into the possession of a scope and on reading the logo at the front end assumed it was a 'tasco.'
The scope looks identical to some tasco ones i have seen on the internet, and the white 'tasco' logo is in the correct position and font.
But i hear that there are 'fake' tasco scope, like chinese clone ones. My question is really do these use the same logo, and is there any way of telling a fake?
Now the tasco scopes on FS are around £60, are these the real ones or chinese ones? If they are real then how much do the 'fake' ones sell for.
I am asking because i have one tat i am going to sell soon and needed to know this before i sell it obviously to work out how much it is worth.
thanks for your time...

Re: A Question about tasco scopes...
not sure exactly - but i would check real steel retailers like jsramsbottom
- either way - assuming the scope is not damaged in anyway and the sight picture is good what does it matter if its a chinese clone?
this is airsoft mate - you are never going to be that accurate anyway.
you will find that the majority of scopes are made over there these days.

Re: A Question about tasco scopes...
thanks a lot, it wasn't really whether it made much difference, as to be honest i don't care. The problem was identifying it for resale, so that it was not being falsely advertised.
anyway it's sorted now, so nevermind, but thanks very much for you help
