I love Airsoft. I do, In really do. But Not so much the name.

Maybe it's the "soft" in the name, but I'm not sure...


What do you think?

I like the term airsoft, as its unique enough to not be wrongly used and gives the sport a much less threatening term.

To be honest i dont mind it, but i does say anything really about the game- paintball for instance, says it all- we fire BALLS of PAINT.

But airsoft? Sounds like those fan skydives people do or some kind of air bazooka game. But what to replace it with? I mean it can be explained- SOFT AIRguns, but surely something involving words like military, bbs or RIFs be more appropriate?

apart from - Firing Plastic Projectiles Out of Replica Imitation Firearms Simulating War Minus the Death Part, but you try and fit that into one or two words lol
