Yes results can be inconsistant,i have also launched a thermo grenade through second story window this way

I have and if you wrap cling film around the smoke grenade first you get a nice tight seal. Great fun but sometimes it is easier just to throw them.

We've made BB IED's before.
used the thick paper tubing you get from expended fireworks. Packed some BB's in one end with a thick paper plate underneath.
We then butchered a firework and used the charge on the other side.
we wanted to make it remote detonated but due to Racial profiling we thought it would probably be more beneficial to use a firework fuse.
We tested it several times. Then tested it on ourselves. The BB's didnt come flying with any great force... was more like being rained on with BBs.
showed them to the marshal at our local site but he wouldnt let us use them due to the fire hazards.. =(

ignighted the lighter gas i used for it........... looks well
launched eggs, nerf rounds,careful planning ,37 mm police riot battons, steel and flint BB's (not that good )
and the classic pyro an smoke cocktails
if this upsets any one sorry i do this so others may learn

technically it isn't, yes it is a thread that has been bumped but it saves making another thread doing the exact same. It is different from when somebody is giving advice on a thread that is a year out of date.

I have seen a paintball pistol used to fire mk5's which was pretty effective, although I wouldn't want to aim at anybody.
