ICS L85 Mag advice
6 July, 2009, 21:17
'lo all. I'm returning to airsoft after a two year break. Currently on my way to getting registered so I can purchase AEGs again!
I'm planning on picking up the ICS L85, but I was wondering about mag selection. Mags specific for the L85 seem to be rather limited in selection on ZeroOne, so I was wondering, do any others work well with it? Anyone able to recommend any good mid and high caps?
Cheers for any help.

All M4/M16 mags fit (I used to own one).
The L85 ones are about inch longer, but not noticeable when in.

What you looking at spending? If you have the money for top kit, go for S. Arms. Full metal mid caps (160 rounds). £20 each!
I had D Boys hicaps before, they broke after a while (My fault, got grenade pellets in them by accident!)

Re: ICS L85 Mag advice
ICS mags are a bit wobbly. i think TM mags drop out but you can pull the mag catch hole out slightly so they lock in properly. and STAR mags fit but once in give them a good push and they click in place as they fall out if you don't.

MAG mids are very good, got a nice strong feed. Hold about 100 rounds. I got a box of 8
(and you can get them with HK markings if that is your thing).
