Need help with my first Ak buy

I'm looking at purchasing a new recoil rifle, i've not owned one before and i've always been loyal to 5.56mm guns

HOWEVER i'm transferring to the dark side, can anyone please let me know of any differences bar the obvious ris etc between the two guns. I'll get it from my local retailer and I don't know what one I prefer, I like the idea of ris but I love the shorter ak to.

What are your views?

Also if you can post any photos of any accessories etc you've added to yours to sway your side of the argument etc.

I'm buying one of them tomorrow redardless, I just don't know what one.....
