Using the Propeak with a car battery

As prep for weekenders begin, I was wondering what the best way to use hte propeak is with a car battery.

As some of you may know, the propeak comes with two clips in order for yo uto be able to plug into a car/motorcycle 12V battery (clips directly on under the bonnet)

Whilst charging, is it best to have the car running? cos surely in the ignition mode without the engine on the generator will not cause the battery in the car to regain any of its spent energy..

So say I needed to charge my batteries each night, are we saying, leave the car running whislt the pro peak is blasting?

yep - thats why you have to fast charge your batteries at an overnight event or buy a spare battery

or leave the car on all night

you can pick up second hand batteries on these forums for 8-15 quid

personaly I would only use the quick charge on car battary
over nite slow charge (Trickle) at home

I charged 3 batteries without having to have my car running. I let it tick over while charging the 4th one

also to mention you use in car charger from mobile fone save's you opening the bonnet !!

I'm lucky, battery is in the boot, so I can simply keep it locked while charging
