Re: import tax
A lot of HK sites are generous with the declared value of a package, so you might be ok.
Anything over £18 declared is subject to import tax (17.5% I think). More annoyingly the courier will often charge you for the pleasure of sending it via customs, which is £18 or £36 depending on value. If they have put it is a replica firearm on the front, might bring a little more attention, so you might have to prove your defence.
Most packages though sail right through, so fingers crossed!

Re: import tax
it is not a fixed sum but a percentage.
15% VAT + 3.5% Import duty.
That is what i got from Customs. Commodity code 9303900000

quite frankly i don't want to have to pay any more! also, has anyone used and if so how long does the "10-20 day" shipping actually take? cheers.

Re: import tax
I have never been taxed in all the things ive bought from oversea's apart from one time. I bought a pair of custom K-swiss trainers which ironically enough was one of the first things I'd ever bought online.
That was many moons ago and I've never been taxed since.
