Warrior G22 Sniper Rifle?
22 January, 2009, 20:56
Interesting and gas cheap at £107 without scopes etc
This is made by Well
What are your opinions on it?
Nice as the l96 but easier to carry
fugly but nice to carry?
views people views!
My view on it is:
A very police like looking rifle wouldn't fit into a woodland setting unlike my favord l96 series and cheytac m200

Re: Warrior G22 Sniper Rifle?
Gas + sniping.
To be honest with poor UK weather and the problems of seals and leaks, i would never really go for a gas sniper. Though i have to be honest at that price and since gas is easier to vary FPS on by just changing the gas i may one day get one of these.
Though personally i would say stay with spring, more reliability and no extra cost for gas.

Re: Warrior G22 Sniper Rifle?
Hmm interesting
It looks ok i guess don't know if i prefer it to the l96 but it does have the same bolt but less bolt pull which i don't like.
FireKnife there is also a spring version of this available
I will be making a move into the gas rifle range soon enough as a sort of "Hmm i wonder" experience I was looking at this or the warrior l96.
My rifle journey will go from DE m50 and end at Ares M200 and then the l96 or g22 in between

Re: Warrior G22 Sniper Rifle?
Hence why i said 'stick with spring'.
But it is something new and it is rare that i see any gas snipers at my local skirmish, most seem to have G-Specs or L96's but 99% spring.
Though i would say it looked, due to it's design and build, more of a marksmans gun for target shooting. Though i do know it is a L96 system but with a different stock and made for the German's, in particular the Bundswehr.

Re: Warrior G22 Sniper Rifle?
If you HAVE to get a gas rifle then wait and save up for a Tanaka, but I strongly recommend a spring rifle over a gas rifle.
