Quick charging question

If I had a small head charger but a large head battery, would I be able to charge it by doing the following:

My gun should take the small head but it has had a wire added that connects to the origional small head thingy and the other end is large, so I can run a largger battery through it,

But if I dissconected the small end from my gun and connected it to the small head on the charger, and ran the large battery on the other end, would it still charge as normal?

everything fits, just thought I would ask rather than waiting 7 hours to test it :P

thats basicly what it is, except it has a fuse housing on it. :P
