reliable gbbr
13 May, 2011, 09:58
Hi,
I'm looking at getting my first gbbr but I'm not sure which one.
I've read a fair few reviews, but still not sure what to get.
it appears open bolt with npas is the best way to go.
I want a good kick range, reliability and accuracy, although I realise ill probably have to compromise.
I have a £450 budget for gun, with no mags
I don't mind what type of gun it is to be honest either,
The only thing I don't want is the we pdw as I dislike the looks.
Thanks,
marcus

Re: reliable gbbr
WE KAC PDW with stinger hop up, 450 should get you the gun and a fair few mags, good gun for both cqb and woodland

It's that bl**dy annoying predictive function. It turns "G39" into "WE KAC PDW with stinger hop up" unless you're careful
OP, in seriousness, the G39 seems to be getting all the rave reviews at the moment and very few complaints.

Phew, think i got away with that:D
The only problem with the G39......UGLY (in my opinion of course..)
It does seem to be the best in regards to dealing with the varied temps of the UK, but Mags are a lot harder to find. Safe bet for your first Gbbr is stick to something that is easy to source mags etc for as if its not for you it is a lot easier to move on, so M4, Scar, ahem PDW, maybe SA80 as they all take the same mags.

Similar to above, purley for ease of locating mags and their compatability id say WE O/B Scar with NPAS and alloy hinge plate.
For easily the best all rounder (with exeption of mag prices) WE G39 with an RA-tech hop and tightbore.

Well for what it's worth you are definitely making the right move to GBBr. There's only one you need to consider for looks, quality and reliability. Cough cough.....mine :D
