Re: Filling in the trademarks
im not sure if tipex is the right thing to use,but i have used white enamel paint from halfords, you can also use the little modelling paint by humbro or similar, just paint it on with a cotton bud, wait for it to dry and use a cotton bud dipped in nail varnish remover perferably with alchohol to remove any excess

Re: Filling in the trademarks
you could do an enamal wash?
its a technique used in modelling where you get you paint and thin it down a bit with either white spirit or emamel thinner. when the solution is thin you paint the trademarks with a paint brush.
the paint should run into the indents.
i havent tried it but i do it on my models so im assuming it may work on airsoft trades.

Re: Filling in the trademarks
Ive used humbrol enamel paint on my guns to make the trades more obvious. Easy enough to use, paint the trades with white (what I used) and use a cotton bud or tissue to wipe off the excess.

Re: Filling in the trademarks
My opinion, you should leave the ones on the handguard as they were, the others look good but all the L85's I ever signed out of an armoury had the paint on the trades worn down big time.

Re: Filling in the trademarks
Hi guys i only did this as an eg, so you could see how it looks with tip-ex, i also did my m4 and mp5 a4 in this way and they look s**t hot. humbrol enamal paint also works well but i have never had a problem with wet weather. it it scratches out just recoat.... mark
