as above no problems with a aw338 in winter, just keep the mags warm or in a sock or if funds allow get co2 mags

        Re: Gas Sniper Rifles

I have owned two fully done up Tanaka m700's. I still own one now being a Tanaka Aics.

Great performance but just make sure its allways clean before your next game for best results. I sold my last one just before the seriously cold weather but it was still putting out a strong 460fps in verry cold conditions.

Currently my Tanaka Aics is firing a consistent 480 (i have an adjustable bolt). Consistency now that i have cleaned the rifle recently is great, verry quiet and accurate and 90% of the time the enemy know they have been hit

Usually i am taking targets out torso upwards at 50 meters average with the ocassional 70 metre hits. I have hit 90 to 100 metre + targets on a verry verry good day with my old tanaka too.

They are not cheap, but most definatly worth it. I think i will keep this one though through winter but if your a first time sniper, go for a maxed out gspec / pro first as a serious gun.
