Pistol UKARA RULES

Some people think that for all pistols you need to be be UKARA Registered.
You don't.
As long as the weapon is above 1 Joule it's classed as an air weapon so can be sold to anyone over the age of 18

Re: Pistol UKARA RULES
Please do not post incorrect and misleading information on the forum as though it is fact.
I have a copy of the Association of Chief Police Officers guidelines in front of me as I'm typing. They state that as a guideline, the home office considers anything over 1J to be lethal barreled. BUT, that's only a guideline as the CPS have stated that all cases must be taken on merit and that there's no defined minimum power standard set for air weapons.
