I enjoy variety, so I won't limit myself to one type of airsoft site. Even better if you can mix it all into one, although understandably this is difficult.

2. What services do you look for in an Airsoft site?

a. Equipment rental
Personally, I don't look for rental anymore, but I did when I was first starting for obvious reasons. If a site doesn't offer rentals it'll limit itself to players already established in the sport.
b. Shop
Doesn't have to sell much, but a decent brand of BBs (such as excel, or blaster) and some pyros at good prices is always good. Mars bars and the like and cans/bottles of drinks is pretty essential as I know it's saved a day for me when I've forgotten to take enough liquid/food.
c. Food / drink facilities
I enjoy the option of having a cooked burger/bacon bap type thing in the morning and at lunch, but it's by no means essential. Consider it a luxury really.

3. How much do pay for a regular skirmish?
£20 - this is member price and includes a bacon cob & coffee/tea for breakfast
£25 for non members

4. How much would you be prepared to pay?
£25 - £30 for a standard day.

Have travelled 70 miles for urban assault, having only just got my own car I was very limited by what other people were doing. But I'd probably do up to and hour and a half of travelling for a good site, it'd have to have a good reputation and offer something I couldn't get closer for that though, just because of petrol costs.

I do own my own equipment.
Before I did, I paid £15 a time for a gun, 1000 bbs, a hi-cap and a mask.
I'd be prepared to pay up to £20 for rentals.

I'll only regularly attend a site if it's good. The membership deals are a bonus, and make it more likely that I'll attend more often.

c. Once a month

On the odd occasion, once every two weeks. Although once a month is a more optimal time span for me, if I went every two weeks for two long, I'd get a bit bored, and it'd cost too much.
However, for site running, once every two weeks during the longer days is better as you'll be more likely to be able to attract people who might not be able to do some days during the month.

11. What factors influence how often you attend an Airsoft skirmish?

Primary concern (over long distances) is
a. Distance

Then it's how much I enjoy a site, the standard of the regular players (in terms of their sportsmanship, etc) and the friendliness/effectiveness of the marshalls.

After that these two would add together and make the final decision

12. Would you be interested in a new Airsoft site opening in Norfolk?

c. Don't know
For me, where I am, I wouldn't be directly interested. But if it gained a good reputation as a top notch site that offered something different, with good prices I'd probably make the effort to visit maybe once or twice a year.
For example, ask me if I'd be interested in a site opening in Reading (The Mall), I'd probably say no, but given it's reputation, I'm planning on going at least once before it goes.

The surroundings dont bother me as long as it is professionally run.

Also a firing range is quite nice for setting hop/zero'ing scopes etc

As often as possible, although recently it has dropped to about once a month, i used to attend once a week.

Rental keeps airsofting from becoming an exclusive sport, the shop can cover ammo and pyro, and there's nothing quite like some hot food in the middle of a skirmish day to keep you going.

Half an hour drive to a regular site, an hour and a half to a famous site such as the Mall.

I do, but my friends suggest around £25 is reasonable for Camo and gun hire.

The site itself plays a huge role in deciding whether or not I go. A run-of-the-mill forest would have nothing on a disused hospital, and I'd be up for travelling another hour to go there.

I play both Woodland and CQB regularly, so I would say its more what the site has to offer than what the site is.

a.b.c My opinion a site MUST have rental equipment, although I own my own kit so it doesn't matter to me but I like to see a site with rentals. A shop is a must, even if its just bb's gas and a pyro or two. although food at a lot of sites is cr*p I still eat it as I am too lazy to get something sorted before I leave in the morning so yes.
d. Charging facilities just incase somebody runs out of juice. somebody capable of repairs, maybe a stock of cheap replacement parts that are prone to breaking.

I am happy with that price if I am honest

having the time to do it, I think the only thing that would make me go more often would be if a site started up close to where I live (within 30mins or so) and did night games on say a Friday even then that would not make me go many more times

c. CQBI like to play mainly CQB sites now... I just find they work better/dont have to worry about the weather... im not agaisnt woodland... just no site has lived up to what I want yet!!

b. Shop - Yes, always nice to have a look at a new gun etc. but yes its very nice to have a few bits to splash the cash on rather than just ammo
c. Food / - drink facilities - yes, a nice lunch/drinks/shop is always good

b. Shop - I think BBs and gas = essential for an on-site shop, but a full shop selling AEGs isn't essential *also, it would be nice to try accesories before they are bought

£25 - unless it has some amazing perk, such as full use of a helicopter for the game

Around 1 hours' travel (irrespective of distance travelled), I'm driven there by my parents/friends parents - so much more wold be asking too much

FIBUA first, Then woodland, Then Urban, then CQB

Shop (Basics essential, gas, ammo, pyro, then extras, eg guns, mags, batteries, gear, is great), then a good safe zone (Eg Tables and chairs rather than just somewhere to dump gear on the ground), then food

90 minutes drive, two hours for a really great site
