Re: Gortex or not
Cant see propely. Can you get a nice close up of the fabric so we can see the texture? Also, if there is a loose edge somewhere, check to see if the fabric is composed of layers, or is one type of fabric with a coating.

Re: Gortex or not
Are the DPPVC uniforms not made of Goretex? Anyways if I recall right Goretex has like a squarey material, its easily recognisable

Re: Gortex or not
difficult to tell. i work in the outdoor store millets and gortex comes in a massive range. officially there are 4 different types varying in weights. it would be impossible to tell from the picture. if its truly gortex there should be a label telling you so. if not then you cant expect it to be gortex.

Re: Gortex or not
if it is gen issue gortex . it will feel like a tent nulon type material . and on the inside wone be dpm pattern will be a grey colour . and if there is no label check the ankle hems and waist band for abreviations dpm / gt , or for the word wets as most squadies call them that on their kit

But not sure on jacket.
Any labels? Is it surplus? If it is check for names ect.
