Re: gun camera
this is my cam
cost me £15. straps to my helmet and to my guns easily with the supplied mount or gaffa tape if needed, has a 360 adjust mount. ok pic quality when running level and best when still. and as with most cam's it doesn't like morning light or indoors in the dark. battery's is AAA so just out more in after 2-3 hours. takes big sd cards (apparntly up to 32gig)
here is a video i took on it
http://youtu.be/SBWsps655bQ
also slings are noisy evil things when using these cams

Re: gun camera
Got my MD-80 today. Very surprised at its size! It's no bigger than my thumb! Tested it briefly, very good quality for the money! Date is well off, sure a dive in the manual will sort it. Resulted in using my phone's micro SD as I only had an SD2 card lying around. Will post a brief video eventually, in my Shotgun project thread (to be created :p).

Date is very easy to change - you just create a txt file with the correct info on the SD card. Google for the instructions!
My mate mounts his on an rc helicopter - it's so small and light it doesn't effect the flight. He gets some awesome aerial videos with it

Re: gun camera
You can get the md80s for about £6, and then a .com that plays will do you a card for £2.50 on their usual offers. Camera comes with magnetic clamp, screw mount, rubber case, built in lithium battery. Its also got a cool sound activated mode so you can use it as a spycam.
Heres a vid I took some time back with one

Re: gun camera
keep looking on sites like canon kodak and other well known camera makes and they might sell micro cams that you could strap to your gun
