trades / icons on guns - how do you make them?

Hi all, received a gun today that is quite worn on the lower reciever and grip.

It's an mp5 that is in need of a re spray but also wanted to know how do i go about replicatingthe fire sellector mode graphics after wards?

I would get some tracing paper and make a template, Then spray the gun then re-do the selector emblems using the template
